Difference between counselling and welfare/wellbeing?In summary, counselling focuses on psychological and emotional support through specialised therapeutic interactions, aiming to improve mental health and personal development. Welfare/wellbeing, on the other hand, encompasses a broader spectrum of services designed to ensure individuals' basic needs are met and to improve their overall quality of life, addressing a wide range of social, economic, and health-related factors.
