FAQ

  • How is support tailored to me?
Everyone's needs are different, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. In the initial meeting we have, we will discuss your needs and the outcomes you'd like from my support.
  • How long will I be supported for?
Unlike most support services, there is no time limit on the support offered.
  • How often do we meet?
Typically, we will meet once a week unless it is deemed that more sessions are required. Support sessions will be one hour long.
  • What if I need to cancel?
We understand life can get in the way, but we ask for 24 hours notice.
  • How does support end?
With mutual agreement between the individual receiving support and me. Ending our sessions will never come to an abrupt end or a surprise to you.
  • Difference between counselling and welfare/wellbeing?
In summary, counselling focuses on psychological and emotional support through specialised therapeutic interactions, aiming to improve mental health and personal development. Welfare/wellbeing, on the other hand, encompasses a broader spectrum of services designed to ensure individuals' basic needs are met and to improve their overall quality of life, addressing a wide range of social, economic, and health-related factors.
